Trellis Earth™ Medium Clamshell Takeout Box, holds 22 oz. Perfect for a simple bento, this half-width clamshell holds liquid well and is microwave safe. Made from sustainable plant-based starch bioplastic. When our suppliers introduced their impressive H-10 Large clamshell, customers hollered at us and said: “But wait! What about bento shops that serve smaller, healthier portions?” So the suppliers went back to the drawing board and made this “right sized” clamshell for those lunch eaters that want to feel good about eating less. This earth-healthy container is good for the environment as this box provides food for the critters that are needed for biodegrading too! So if it’s chicken or tofu grilled on a stick served on a bed of rice, this is the box for you and your discerning customers.
Trellis Earth® clamshells come in either our sustainable, plant-based bioresin (waterproof and microwave safe), or in baggase fiber made with a unique combination of wheat stalks, bamboo, and sugarcane fiber. These Trellis Fiber products are Cedar Grove approved for use in Seattle, and have passed the BPI testing for ASTM D 6400 compliance.
