Trellis Earth™ 8 Gallon Office Trash Liner on a 125-Bag Roll. How often does your janitorial staff change the bag of your personal trash can at the office? For most businesses, it's every time there is any garbage in the can at night. That's alot of plastic bags going to the landfill. Why not have your staff use a biodegradable alternative instead? These trash bags are 100% biodegradable and a perfect fit for most standard office trash cans. They are semi-translucent, have no handles, and come folded in the carton. Trellis Earth® bags incorporate biomass to improve biodegradability -- lowering the amount of oil needed to make a trash liner or shopping bag, while helping to insure the bag will more quickly degrade in the presence of other bioactive material in a landfill. These bags do NOT conform to ASTM 6400 standard for compostability, however they contain more biomass than many that are certified by the BPI and others. Reducing our use of shopping bags, and reducing the oil per bag used, are both important goals. Trellis Earth® film products are unique in the methods by which they incorporate and polymerize plant starch, reducing the amount of oil used per bag significantly.
