New Trellis Earth Biodegradable 55-Gallon Trash Liners - (1) 20-bag dispenser roll in retail box. These biodegradable bags work well for large trash liner containers and/or roller carts. Just because your trash is going to a landfill doesn't mean your trash bag can't be environmentally friendly. These trash bags have a 55-gallon capacity and fit most narrow, tall and medium to large trash cans. Or use these bags for yard clippings or recycling. Once you switch to our biodegradable trash bags, you'll never want to go back to your old bags again. These trash bags are 100% biodegradable. They are semi-translucent, have no handles, and come folded in the carton. Trellis Earth® bags incorporate biomass to improve biodegradability -- lowering the amount of oil needed to make a trash liner or shopping bag, while helping to insure the bag will more quickly degrade in the presence of other bioactive material in a landfill. These bags do NOT conform to ASTM 6400 standard for compostability, however they contain more biomass than many that are certified by the BPI and others. Reducing our use of shopping bags, and reducing the oil per bag used, are both important goals. Trellis Earth® film products are unique in the methods by which they incorporate and polymerize plant starch, reducing the amount of oil used per bag significantly.
